Meet Diana and Laura
Military Spouse Dynamic Duos
Meet Diana and Laura:
Meet Diana Jaquith and Laura Early, the two Cofounders of the Wise Advise + Assist Team. Diana and Laura met while both serving on the board of the Community Spouses Club in Fort Benning, Georgia. At the time, both were stationed with their families at Fort Benning. Their shared passions and drive helped lead them to be fast friends. They began to dream of potential career paths and of ways to make a difference for military spouses around the world.
Eighteen months ago, the dynamic duo decided to take their friendship to the next level. They formed a business partnership and created an entire company from scratch.
About the Company:
The Wise Advise + Assist Team helps businesses to strive, strategize and accelerate growth, while both empowering and employing military spouses. Our company has over twenty-five brilliant military spouses on our team. Many of our team members have made continual sacrifices for our country as the Army has uprooted our lives time and time again. Wise Advise allows us to put to use our talents, drive and insights as we outsource work for our clients.
Wise Words from Diana and Laura:
“Working with people who are not necessarily like you can be the best business decision you ever make. Laura and I balance each other perfectly. We both have incredibly different skill sets. Laura is a connector, and I am a do-er. We both bring a lot to the table. Our differences make us stronger within our partnership.”
- Diana, Executive Director of Wise Advise
“Don’t be afraid to partner and collaborate! We are better together than we are apart. Diana and I are so grateful that we took the chance on each other many months ago. Much of our success is credited to our teamwork.”
- Laura, Deputy Director of Wise Advise
The Best Thing Partnerships Bring:
Diana and Laura both agree that starting a business can be mentally exhausting, including lots of hard work, tough days and lonely nights. Although they both have had moments when they wanted to give up, the other partner was there to encourage them to persevere.
The Wise Advise Way:
Collaboration is so much more beneficial in business than competition. By working together, we learn more, grow faster and are more successful.
Kick your fears to the curb and go brainstorm with others. Look for business partners who will motivate and encourage you. Remember, two brains are better than one!
